Hey there! For the intricate designs I just use a thin paint brush that I cut down further to make it thinner (: And when painting with my non dominant left hand I always make sure my right arm is placed on a stable surface such as a table, so that my left hand can also rest on the table. Also, practice! Practice helps A LOT.
